Health & Safety: Our #1 Priority
Health and Safety remain our top priority, with several sites achieving ISO 45001 certification.
We lead local prevention initiatives, such as health campaigns, risk simulations, and well-being workshops, with a reinforced commitment to reducing accident frequency rates. Furthermore, we promote a diverse and open working environment in which all ideas are welcome and a broad exchange takes place. Significant human and industrial investments are made every year.
Food Safety & Nutritional Quality
Food safety and nutritional quality are at the heart of our mission. All our sites are IFS and/or BRC certified. Our internal programs ensure a reduction in additives, sugar, salt, and saturated fatty acids, while continuously improving the nutritional profile of our recipes. This commitment is backed by constant innovation focused on indulgent pleasure, utilizing consumer panels, recipe reformulations, and the expansion of specific ranges (such as "reduced sugar" and vegan products) alongside the international development of "clean label" recipes.
Environmental Transparency & Responsibility
Environmental transparency is a structural pillar of our strategy. We prioritize responsible sourcing of raw materials (low-carbon flour, sustainable cocoa, RSPO-certified palm oil), while strengthening traceability. We have also deployed an ambitious program to reduce packaging and ensure it is fully recyclable.
Ambitious Climate Action
Reducing the environmental impact is one of the key pillars of Emmi Desserts’ sustainability commitment.
The group has defined its path for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, this has been validated by the Science Based targets initiative (SBTi).
Concrete actions have already been implemented: the use of solar panels, the purchase of renewable electricity, flour sourced from regenerative agriculture, the development of alternative transport… and others are currently underway, led by each production site.
